This page explains what information Cutler Court Associates, LLC ("we," "us") collects through the calculators at cutlercourt.com, how we use it, and your choices. We do not collect payment information today; this policy will be updated before any subscription payment feature launches.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we collect:
- If you request an emailed report or summary (a form on The Total Joint Value Calculator or the free calculator): your salutation, name, email address, and which version of this consent language you agreed to.
- If you access a paid calculator (The Total Joint Value Calculator or the Advocacy Edition) using an access code: which code was used, the name associated with that code, and your IP address, logged at the time of access.
- If you use the free calculator: your IP address and the time of your visit, for aggregate usage tracking. This is not linked to your name or email unless you separately submit the registration form.
- If an access code you enter is incorrect or expired: your IP address, the code attempted, and the reason it failed, kept for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
We do not collect health information or any patient data through this site.
How we use it
- To grant and verify access to the calculators
- To send a one-time summary email of your results, when requested
- To occasionally email about updates to the calculators, only if you opted in
- To monitor and prevent abuse, such as repeated failed access attempts
- To understand aggregate usage of the free calculator
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Where it's stored
Registration data (name, email, salutation, and consent record) is stored in Netlify Blobs (our hosting provider's data store) and separately recorded in a Google Sheet accessed via a Google service account, for our own recordkeeping. Access logs, failed-attempt logs, and free-calculator usage logs are kept in Netlify Blobs only. We do not use Netlify Forms. Access to this data is limited to Cutler Court Associates, LLC.
Your choices
Unsubscribe: every update email we send includes a working unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time, and we will stop sending non-essential emails within 10 business days of your request.
Access, correction, or deletion: to request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, email privacy@cutlercourt.com.
Retention
Registration data, access logs, and usage logs are retained for two years from the date of collection, after which they are deleted.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for licensed medical professionals and practice administrators. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
